These very short shorts became very popular must-have for festival goers this year. We know festivals are generally hot and crowded, but it’s not the greatest look to barely be covering your backside!

Feather extensions

Speaking of festivals, the feather hair extensions were also popular at events like Coachella. Perhaps a trend that should be left to the kids.

Hipster frames

As the ironic saying goes, “hipster glasses are too mainstream”. The trend is understandable if you actually need glasses, but is it going too far when you don’t even need the lenses?

PJs as daywear

The routine flannie-pj dash to the letterbox is understandable, but since when did pyjamas become acceptable as everyday clothing?

Adult onesies

Comfort is one thing, but giving the impression you’re a giant baby is another. Keep the onesie in the past… or at least make sure no one else sees you’ve got one.

Fruit Print

Stella McCartney showcased oranges and Prada released some bananarama-loving. Colour-blocking is one way to get noticed, but leave the fruit on the kitchen bench!

Leggings as pants

It’s been an ongoing debate, but when the queen of perfect-bottoms even raised controversy over by wearing them this year, we knew the whole leggings-as-pants thing must be an issue.

There were flares. And then there were these. Pants or a skirt? We’re confused too.

Reminscent of the Spice Girls, flat platform shoes are rather awkward and clompy to walk in.

Let’s just say, they’re a little too close to home to the bumbags sported by middle-aged theme park visitors.

Although not a style donned by many, this certainly deserved a mention. A royal disaster? At least Princess Beatrice auctioned it off for a good cause.
